VidGrid allows Blackboard users to capture videos directly from the LMS. With the integration, users are automatically created and logged in based on their Blackboard credentials. Creators can record, upload, and search their library for content.
Videos can be inserted anywhere that the Content Market can be accessed in Ultra Navigation and through the Content Builder in Original Navigation.
Note: Building Blocks can be used in Original Experience. See this article for installation.
Additionally, auto-graded video quizzes, student recording assignments, and a full-app portal view can be configured.

DANGER: at this point, please double check that you do not see this item already on the LTI Tool providers list: "Prod Lti 13 New" << THIS IS the VIDGRID 1.3 connection. Installing the VidGrid 1.3 LTI after it already exists will break all existing content created with the tool -- don't do that!! The name is very confusing (sorry!!) since it doesn't say "VidGrid" anywhere. Be extra careful!! Check all pages and verify it definitely for sure absolutely doesn't already exist.

9. Troubleshooting tips:
make sure the Tool Provider URLs in the placements do not end with a forward-slash: this help document likes to add that if you choose "copy link" by right-clicking, but the actual value you plug in shouldn't have a slash on the end.
in VidGrid > Account Settings > LTI, scroll to the bottom and ensure the checkbox "Automatically create VidGrid accounts for new LTI users" is selected. If this isn't checked, you will see an error, "We were not able to find a user" when trying the LTI as a student.
