When accessing VidGrid through an LMS (Canvas, D2L, Blackboard, Moodle, etc), sometimes a user will get stuck on a login message that says "Click to Continue" when trying to record or view a video. If you click the button and nothing happens, this is because the browser cookies are being blocked. Here are the instructions for each browser to accept third party cookies for vidgrid.com.

Safari: (Safari 13.1 does not currently work with VidGrid, please use another browser)

Computer

  1. Go to the Safari drop-down menu (top left, beside the apple icon).

  2. Select Preferences.

  3. Click Privacy in the top panel.

  4. Uncheck Prevent Cross-site Tracking. (Note: Safari has an interesting glitch. If this is already unchecked, try checking it, then unchecking again).

  5. Refresh your page (if a normal refresh doesn't work, try clearing cache* and refreshing).

  6. If the issue continues after refresh, try going back to the Privacy tab and unchecking Block all Cookies.

  Mobile - iOS

  1. Open Settings

  2. Scroll down and tap Safari

  3. Under Privacy & Security, untoggle Prevent Cross-site Tracking. (Note: Safari has an interesting glitch. If this is already unchecked, try checking it, then unchecking again).

  4. Refresh your page (if a normal refresh doesn't work, try clearing cache* and refreshing).
