Video transcoding is the process that converts a video file from one format to another to make videos viewable across different platforms and devices.
By default, videos are uploaded to VidGrid at a resolution of 1080p and 2.4 megabits per second, however, we do offer organizations the option to select other transcode settings.
Administrators for the account will find these under Account Settings > Organization Settings:

Resolution:
720p and 1080p are both high definition video display formats, however, a 1080p image has the potential to display a lot more detail than a 720p image.
Upload speed:
5.4 Mbps will produce higher video quality than 2.4 Mpbs, however, that also means more internet bandwidth is required to playback the videos once they are uploaded.
